Robin Pritchard BSc
Chairman

Robin left the family business of Pritchard Services in 1967 and founded Academy Office Cleaning Services Ltd. After diversifying into manned guarding he formed Securiguard Group Plc and led them to the London Stock Exchange in 1983. Robin remained with the Group as non-executive director until 1993 when they were taken over by Rentokil following a hostile bid. In 1997 he founded Shield with his business partner Malcolm Rose.

Malcolm Rose MBA MBICSc
Managing Director

Prior to co-founding Shield, Malcolm worked in the property sector where he was experienced at senior level in project management, taking direct responsibility for major joint venture property development projects. Since inception, he has been committed to implementing a working plan to establish Shield as a major force in the industry and is responsible for the day to day running of the Company.

Oliver Weisflog BSc DMS
Director of Corporate Development

With over 30 years experience in support services Oliver has worked on the boards of major companies in this sector and as a consultant for Cleaning, Hygiene, and FM in the UK and overseas. His role in Shield is to assist customers and the company to maintain best practice and introduce innovation in all areas of the business.

Kenneth Macpherson
Non Executive Director

Appointed in 2009. Kenneth is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and has held senior positions in the oil and gas industry including W.R Grace & Co., Champlin Petroleum Co., Deminex UK  and IEDC Services UK Ltd.  He now has a consultancy business within the industry.

Lisa Hill tech.IOSH, MBICSc
Operations Director

Lisa joined the Company in August 1998 as a Cleaning Supervisor and has worked her way through the ranks to her present position. She is NVQ qualified in Cleaning Building Interiors and an RSA NVQ Assessor. She has also achieved a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Health & Safety. Lisa is responsible for staff training matters and is the Company’s Health & Safety officer.

Martin Goddard FCA
Company Secretary & Accountant

Martin was appointed Company Secretary at inception and provides the Company with financial advice and accountancy services.

Marion Dudley MBICSc
Regional Service Manager

Marion has worked in the cleaning industry for many years before joining the Group in 2004 as an Area Manager. In her current position of Regional Service Manager she is responsible for a team of Area Managers.

Robert Van Druten
Regional Service Manager

Robert is a highly experienced member of staff and has been working at all levels in the cleaning industry since 1980. He is responsible for managing a team of Area Managers in the London region.
