Malcolm Rose MBA MBICSc

Chief Executive Officer

Prior to co-founding Shield with his late business partner Robin Pritchard, Malcolm worked in the property sector where he was experienced at senior level in project management, taking direct responsibility for major joint venture property development projects. Since inception, he has been committed to implementing a working plan to establish Shield as a major force in the industry and is responsible for the strategic direction of the Company.

Kenneth Macpherson

Non Executive Director

Appointed in 2009. Kenneth is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and has held senior positions in the oil and gas industry including W.R Grace & Co., Champlin Petroleum Co., Deminex UK and IEDC Services UK Ltd. He now has a consultancy business within the industry.

Martin Goddard FCA

Company Secretary & Accountant

Martin was appointed Company Secretary at inception and provides the Company with financial advice and accountancy services.

Senior Management

Lisa Hill tech.IOSH, MBICSc

Service Director

Lisa joined the Company in August 1998 as a Cleaning Supervisor. With previous experience in the industry she soon worked her way through the ranks to her present position. She is NVQ qualified in Cleaning Building Interiors and an RSA NVQ Assessor. She has also achieved a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Health & Safety. Lisa is responsible for staff training and is also the Company’s Health & Safety Manager.

Marion Dudley MBICSc

Regional Manager

Marion has worked in the cleaning industry for many years and joined the Group in 2004 as an Area Manager. In her current position as Regional Manager, Marion provides support to our Area Managers in the South ensuring best practice and general compliance on all sites at all times.

Dean Couldridge

Key Account Manager

Dean was a Site Manager working in a Primary School before joining the Company in 2018. Following a period as Area Manager, Dean has been promoted to Key Account Manager overseeing our Area Managers in the London, Essex & Kent areas together with looking after key accounts.

Alison Amor

Senior Area Manager

Alison joined the Company in 1998 and is our longest serving Manager. She is highly skilled in all aspects of cleaning and customer service and is an irreplaceable member of our service team.

Area Managers

Arek Kosinski – Area Manager

Arek TUPE transferred to the Company in 2009 and brought with him a wealth of cleaning qualifications and general expertise. He has developed his role in West London and is highly competent at recruiting and training new employees.

Leigh Searles – Area Manager

Leigh has worked for Shield as a site supervisor for many years and has recently been appointed as an Area Manager looking after contracts along the South Coast.

Monika Kapuscinska – Area Manager

Monika TUPE transferred to the Company in December 2020 as a Supervisor responsible for a prestigious Jaguar Land Rover dealership. Monika was appointed as an Area Manager in September 2022 responsible for contracts in Southampton and along the coast to Poole.

Charlotte Gershon – Area Manager

Charlotte is an experienced cleaning professional with over 15 years in the industry. She has earned numerous qualifications and certificates related to cleaning throughout her career. Charlottes extensive background allows her to offer specialised skills that make her a valuable asset. Charlotte was appointed as Area Manager in March 2024.

Support Staff

Clare Peto – PA to the Chief Executive

Along with her role as PA, Clare is also responsible for the Company Vehicles, Mobile Phones and Sales. Clare joined Shield in 2010.

Sonya Wilkinson – Customer Services Manager

Sonya is responsible for our sub-contractors, periodic work and any service-related queries. Sonya joined Shield in 2006.

Annette Roberts – Service Administrator

Annette has been with Shield since 2019 and looks after our Area Managers dealing with contract queries and administration.

Louise Smith – Payroll Manager

Louise is responsible for delivering the Payroll to all the cleaning staff and deals with all Payroll related queries, from reference requests to management reporting. Louise joined Shield in 2018.

Marlene Oates-Hinds MA DPM BA (Hons) FCIPD – HR Consultant

Marlene is an external consultant and has been advising the Company on HR matters since 2018.
